Glenda Burn - New Results

Glenda Burn

Background and experience:

Glen works across executive coaching, the design and facilitation of leadership workshops, and targeted organisational development interventions. Her coaching supports individuals and leadership teams to think clearly, reflect honestly, and act with greater consistency and confidence in demanding environments.

She has been trained in a wide range of coaching techniques and holds the ILM Level 7 Diploma for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors. Her professional training also includes NLP Foundation and Practitioner qualifications, which inform her behavioural and systemic coaching approach.

Glen is particularly interested in the gap between intention and action, and how leaders build the capability to close it, especially under pressure. This focus underpins both her coaching practice and the leadership workshops she designs and facilitates.

Coaching philosophy and coaching clients:

Glen believes effective coaching is reflective, challenging, and practical. At its core, her work is about helping leaders deepen their self‑awareness, take responsibility for their impact, and make purposeful choices, even when circumstances are difficult.

“Leadership development isn’t about having better answers, it’s about having the awareness and confidence to act differently when it really counts.”

She typically works with senior leaders, directors, managers, and business owners, supporting them through transition, growth, increased responsibility, or organisational change.

Alongside her professional expertise, Glen brings lived experience of navigating complexity and pressure, which has deepened her understanding of resilience, identity, and leadership under strain, adding depth and credibility to her coaching practice.

Coaching style and approach:

Glen’s style is calm, perceptive, and appropriately challenging. She creates psychologically safe spaces where people can explore difficult issues honestly, without judgement, while being supported to move forward with clarity and intent.

Her work includes:

  • 1:1 executive coaching
  • Design and facilitation of leadership and management workshops
  • Supporting leaders through transition, change, and increased accountability
  • Using behavioural insight and reflective challenge to shift patterns of thinking and behaviour
  • Helping teams and individuals strengthen trust, effectiveness, and leadership presence

Glen balances empathy with rigour, helping clients not just gain insight, but translate it into sustained action and meaningful impact.
