Northumbrian Water Group Business, (now Wave), was a new business set up following the water market retail review. The review means that businesses, charities and public sector organisations can choose their water retailer in much the same way they can with electricity and gas.
NWGB had a small team created from different departments and all with different sales abilities. The development brief was to create a team using best practice and to do something a little different – not necessarily the old way of working – they wanted the team to create an NWGB way of doing things.
Working with Mandy and the team, we shaped a sales training programme and account management programme to suit their needs. These equipped the team with the confidence and skills needed when selling to customers. We also worked with their management team, helping them to embed the development by delivering our 3-day Train the Coach programme. This programme enables them to develop the team around them as they grow.
